06.03.06: back in action
finally i return from work to see that after two lonesome weeks of what must have been my neighbor/friendly wireless provider on vacation, the airport on my trusty mac has detected a connection once again. ironically, there was an article in nytimes.com today entitled "hey neighbor, stop piggy-backing on my wireless". guilty as charged...but granted, i'm not downloading movies here. just sending out a hello to the worldwide web. that's my justification and i'm sticking to it.
anyway, as usual, i have a backlog of stories to tell, but as it's nearing midnight and my neighbor typically turns off internet around then, i'll keep it short for now. if anyone's sent me an email in the last three weeks or so to my alumni account, please send again! was having emails problems unbeknownst to me (some managed to slip through, thus delaying the problem recognition stage)...i hate to think there are pleasant thoughts out there that will never be recognized. must say i'm a little grateful that there was indeed a problem though. was starting to feel a little lonely with a quieter than usual mailbox.
so now, rather than risk losing connection and not getting anything out here, i bid you all good night. among things to mention in the posts planned in my head are candy-throwing, day trip to paris, scenes from everyday life. and a musing about ethnic sensibility (yah, deep, i know). hasta ahora...
