musings from spain

she was amazing. simply amazing. wandering-woman  had it completely right...her recordings don't do her justice, as when performing live, she truly exudes a passion, intensity and vibrancy that doesn't allow itself to be caught and put into cd to be repeated over and over again, in the same fashion. i was enraptured, as was the rest of the crowd, and the setting of the gorgeous palau de la musica just added icing to the cake. i feel truly priviledged to have had the opportunity to share the night with her.  

thanks, btw, wandering-woman, for posting about her and her concert here in barcelona.  it was a real honor.  and looks like you can buy her latest cd, mi niña lola, on amazon now...go do it!  you won't regret it.  although if you can make it out to spain next time she swings by, i'll treat you to the real thing.  =)

edit: oops, just double-checked the amazon link and looks like the cd's not available yet in the states.  my bad.  looks like a trip to spain in person is on order then...;-)
